Our Accredited Safeguarding courses aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.
This course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, prevent, and respond to safeguarding concerns across various settings. Participants will explore key concepts, legislation, and guidelines related to safeguarding vulnerable individuals, such as children, young people, and adults at risk. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, participants will enhance their ability to create safe environments and contribute to the protection of those in their care.
What is the difference between Level 1 and Level 3?
Level 1 is a 5 hour course (including breaks) and this is suitable for frontline workers. It gives an overview of the basics of safeguarding, including the all important reporting and recording.
Level 3 is a more in-depth one day course, and is suitable for Managers or Designated Safeguarding Leads. It looks in more detail at responsibilities in safeguarding, about the requirement to work within the local safeguarding partnership and thinks about the role of managers of safeguarding within the organisation as well as within your client group.
This course can be offered as a face to face course, or as a distance learning option.
